A Life in the Making

This work comes from real life.
From the life God has given me, from family, love, losses, grief, second chances, and
the memories that stay with you. It comes from years spent working, building, learning
things the hard way, getting it wrong, starting over, and refusing to stay down.
Some of it comes from the jobsite, where the materials do not lie. Some of it comes from
behind the bar, where I learned that people carry burdens you may not see right away.
Some of it comes from music, fatherhood, quiet mornings at the desk, long days in the
shop, and the moments that make you stop and realize what really matters.
I am not trying to make perfect things. I am trying to make honest things. Things with
some weight to them. Things my sons can look back on and know what I believed, what I
loved, what I built, and what I hope will last.

His creative work is shaped by decades of experience in construction, real estate, hospitality, teaching, faith, family, and the everyday lessons that come from paying attention to people. Whether working with words, wood, paint, or steel, he is drawn to the same challenge: creating something honest, meaningful, and built to endure.
