From Your Dad

Life Lessons Straight from Me to You

In Progress, Eric Peeler

Some books are written for the world. This one is written for my boys.

From Your Dad is a collection of life lessons, personal reflections, regrets, reminders, and hard-earned wisdom from a father who wants his sons to carry more than advice. It is about love, faith, work, character, purpose, discipline, forgiveness, family, and becoming the kind of man who leaves his world better than he found it.

Written as a series of short, honest lessons, this book is not meant to be perfect or preachy. It is meant to feel like a letter. A father's voice on paper. The kind of book a son can read quickly, set down, and come back to years later when life starts asking harder questions.

At its heart, From Your Dad is a reminder to Liam and Ian that they are loved, they have a purpose, and no matter where life takes them, their dad's words will always be there for them.

Behind the Bar

The Business, Mindset, and Craft of Professional Bartending

In Editing

Behind the Bar is not a cocktail encyclopedia. It is not a book about memorizing recipes so you can look cool shaking a tin.

It is a book about what it actually takes to become a professional bartender: the real business, the mindset, the craft, the pressure, the pace, the people, and the discipline required to do the job well.

This book grew out of my years teaching at American Bartending School in Tampa, where students came through the door believing they were there to learn drinks. And they were. But the ones who truly understood the job learned something much bigger.

They learned that the real job is not the bottle.
The real job is the people.

Finding Liam's Voice

What Every Parent, Family Member, Teacher, and Coach Should Know About Childhood Apraxia of Speech

In Progress, Kimberley & Eric Peeler

Liam had a voice long before the words came.

He was bright, social, loving, and full of life, but he could not get the words out. While doctors said things like "he's a boy" and "he'll talk when he's ready," Kimberley and Eric knew in their hearts that something more was going on. As Liam's frustration grew, so did their determination to find answers.

Finding Liam's Voice is the story of one family's journey through Childhood Apraxia of Speech: the confusion before the diagnosis, the relief of finally having a name for it, the guilt of wondering what could have been done sooner, and the hard, beautiful work of building the right team around a child who was trying so hard to be heard.

I Hear You

A Story for Children Finding Their Voice

In Progress, Kimberley & Eric Peeler

Not every child can easily say what they are thinking. Not every child can easily tell the people they love what is in their heart. But that does not mean they don't have something important to say.

I Hear You is a companion children's book to Finding Liam's Voice, written from the child's perspective. This story speaks directly to children with Childhood Apraxia of Speech and other communication challenges, reminding them that they are seen, they are loved, and they are heard, even when the words don't come out the way they want them to.

A book about patience. A book about courage. A book about hope. And most importantly, a book about belonging.

I Am

A Novel

In Progress, Eric Peeler

Not everyone who sees the universe understands it. Chris Murphy graduated high school with a 2.3 GPA, spent fifteen years disappearing into addiction, and never cared much about science.

But since childhood, every time he sleeps, something happens to him that he has always called dreaming because he had no other word for it. In these experiences, there is no body, no eyes, no sense of standing somewhere and observing something else. He simply exists within what is happening. He feels gravity. Distance. Time. Connection. He experiences things humanity has names for, and things humanity may not even know exist yet.

When scientists eventually ask what he does, Chris struggles. Their question does not make sense to him. Finally he says: I am.

I Am is the story of what happens when the most ordinary man in the room turns out to be the one person some of the greatest physicists alive need. Not because of his education. Not because of his intelligence. Because of his experience. And at the center of it all, a woman who loved him before there was any evidence that made sense.

The Remnants Series

Remnants is a post-apocalyptic thriller trilogy following Vin, a father trying to hold his family together after the world they knew is gone.

Across three full-length novels, the series follows Vin and his two children, Will and Char, from the first shock of collapse into the long, difficult fight to survive what comes after. The books are What Remained of Us, Hold the Line, and Steadfast. Each story stands on its own, but together they form one complete journey through loss, grief, family, faith, love, and legacy.

At its heart, Remnants is not only about survival. It is about the opportunities we lose, the people we cannot bring back, and the promises we keep anyway. It is about what a father carries for his children, what children inherit from those who came before them, and what remains when everything familiar has been stripped away.

In the darkness, there is still an ember. The question is whether it will burn out, or become the fire that leads them forward.

What Remained of Us

In Editing

The world has changed. Not all at once. It changed the way most things change, gradually, then suddenly. Vin is a father with two kids, Will and Char, and the ghost of a wife named Hannah who is gone now in the way that some things go and never come back. He is trying to hold the three of them together through what's left.

This is the book that starts everything. The immediate aftermath. The first days of figuring out what survival actually looks like when the people doing the surviving are a grieving father and two children who need him to hold it together.

Hold the Line

In Progress

Survival was the first problem. This is the second one: staying human while doing it. Vin and his kids have made it through the immediate aftermath. Now comes the harder work: protecting what they've built, deciding who to trust, and holding together as a family when everything outside wants to pull them apart.

The world is still broken. But something larger is beginning to take shape. Vin doesn't know it yet.

The conclusion of the trilogy. What started as a story of immediate survival moves here toward something larger, stranger, and more hopeful than the first two books might have suggested. Vin has held the line. Now he has to decide what they're building toward.

At its core this has always been a story about what a father will do when there is no one else. About the love that survives grief. About what we build when everything else is gone.
