Life Lessons Straight from Me to You
This is not a self-help book. It is not a rulebook. It is not written by a man who has everything figured out.
It is a father's voice on paper.
From Your Dad is a collection of life lessons, personal reflections, regrets, reminders, and hard-earned wisdom written for my boys, Liam and Ian. It is about love, faith, family, character, work, discipline, purpose, health, money, service, forgiveness, and becoming the kind of man who leaves his world better than he found it.
Some lessons are simple. Some are serious. Some are things I learned the hard way. Some are things I hope they never forget.
At the heart of the book is one message I want my boys to carry through every season of life:
From Your Dad is meant to be a quick read, but not a one-time read. It is the
kind of book I hope my sons can come back to at different ages and hear something
different each time. As boys. As young men. As husbands. As fathers one day.
It is my way of saying what every dad hopes his children know before life gets too loud.
Be good. Work hard. Treat people right. Never stop learning. Love deeply. Stand firm. Stay kind. And never forget where you came from.
